This excerpt is from our chapter on gospel centrality:
"See, there is this thing about breathing. Unless you are Jason Bourne or Michael Phelps, you need to breathe every five seconds or so. You don’t 'get your breathing in' in the morning and coast through the day. Breathing is a continual pursuit. If breathing is not happening, nothing else good is getting done. In the same way, believing the gospel is not just the front door of the gospel life, or the mud room for gospel ministry. It is the fuel that our lives and ministries run on. The grace of God in the gospel is the air that we breathe. And breathe. And breathe. And breathe."
